Ogun 2027: Adebutu, Iyabo Obasanjo Lead High-Level Delegation to Ake Palace for Royal Blessing

ABEOKUTA — The political momentum leading up to the 2027 elections in Ogun State gained fresh ground as a powerful delegation of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwarts visited the Ake Palace in Abeokuta to consult with the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III.

The high-profile visit was jointly spearheaded by the incoming PDP governorship candidate, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, and the party’s Ogun Central senatorial candidate, Senator Iyabo Obasanjo. Accompanying them were key members of the state leadership, including the incoming Deputy Governor, Dr. Lateefat Sowunmi-Kolapo, and the State PDP Chairman, Hon. Abayomi Tella.
